Childhood Cancer Month & Giving Back to Your Community!

September was Childhood Cancer Month & Once Again We Did St Baldrick's Shave Off at Finnegan's Wake and though all the contributions aren't tallied as of yet, so far we have raised over $40,400.00 for Childhood Cancer Research!!  

Finnegan's Wake in Winston-Salem were the host, Salon 609 the Shavers, and Shears4Hair Prepped Heads!

Over 90 people, men, women and children shaved their heads in solidarity with the kids that are currently being treated for childhood cancer and donations of hair were bagged and tagged and sent to Locks of Love.  So, we actually worked towards two charities that help kids with cancer.  

I thank God for my children's health every day as I'm sure you do.
